The Rajput Magic

You haven’t lived until you’ve been out in the Thar Desert for a couple of days. The sands around golden Jaisalmer are filled with interesting shrine, temple, tanks and villages. One of the loveliest ways to experience the desert is on camel-back: it’s quiet, leisurely, and natural. If you do the popular 3-days camel safari you’ll take in a 100km loop around Jaisalmer including Bbagh, Ramkunda, the temple at Lodharva, the fabled dunes of Sam, and the abandoned village of Kuldhara.
